Taking Giant Photos!

these few simple suggestions help a great deal

One would think that using white as a background would be best, but it is not white backgrounds tend to make the giant one black block. colored backgrounds are better.

Have the light source behind and above you.

Take a knee to take the photo. On one knee brings camera down to your dogs level. They really make best photos.

If you are not experienced at stacking a dog well there are a few tricks Many people even experienced in showing have trouble stacking a dog for a photo so do not feel bad. So what you do is have your giant step front legs on one or two steps up. This automatically makes sure that the top line is as nice as a good stack. See photo below.

Always use a flash even if outside.

Otherwise make them playful and fun photos!

Try photos of dog sitting.

When you send them to me via email make them full sized.

I will crop and lighten them to make the dog show up best.
